My favorite place is De Grote Markt in Delft and especially in summer when the city is buzzing with tourists. Climb the stairs of De Nieuwe Kerk and enjoy the view of Delft and visit the tomb where the Royal Dutch family is laid to rest since Willem van Oranje. De Nieuwe Kerk is also where Johannes Vermeer, one of the most famous painters, was baptized. A city with a rich history, fascinating museums, and lovely canal houses.

One of my favourite places is the Museumplein in Amsterdam – A place located between the city centre and residential areas, shared by tourists and locals of all ages. Whether it is to lay down on the grass on a warm summer day or to ice skate on the frozen pond during the winter, the Museumplein attracts people due to its pleasant atmosphere. Machteld Liebregs

Personally I love the charming city of Haarlem. It has everything you are looking for; small winding streets with boutiques, hidden courtyard gardens, beautiful historical sites and nice restaurants. And it is only 20 minutes away from the beach; Haarlem is definitely worth a visit!

My favorite place is NDSM: a former shipyard located in Amsterdam Nord transformed into a cultural hotspot. In this charming post-industrial area it is possible to admire a variety of artistic works, expositions at the IJ Hallen, frequently changing graffiti, as well as enjoy cosy bars and restaurants developed with upcycled materials, an artificial beach, the monthly flea market and amazing festivals.

My favorite place are the Dutch beaches with miles and miles of sand to walk on against the wind, lay on in the sun or to build beautiful sand castles. The best way to go to the beach is by bike, especially in spring when you bike along colourful bulb fields.

Francisco Botero

My favorite place in the Netherlands is Schiermonnikoog, an island as beautiful as its name and difficult to pronounce. Schiermonnikoog is a beautiful island off the coast of the Wadden Sea, though very close to the Dutch mainland. But this picturesque place is more than nature, as it is a cultural jewel of the Frisian heritage surviving against the odds in the Northern Netherlands.

Herbert Pelskamp

My favorite place are the small lakes and canals in and around Broek in Waterland. Just a short drive from Amsterdam you find a beautiful silent area in which you can go to with electric boats enjoying the water, the greenery and birds. When the canals are frozen during the winter, it is the perfect spot to go ice-skating.

Annemieke Stuurman

One of the cities I like is Hoorn, not far from Amsterdam and a real gem with many hidden beautiful places. In the historic center you will find many monumental buildings with their origins from the Golden Age. The Westfries museum is a great museum, telling you so much more about the ancient VOC times. From the Juliana Park you can see the most beautiful sunset in the Markermeer while enjoying a local Dutch craft beer.

Every team has more or less similar basic requirements when playing a match abroad. Of course, a Champions League match demand is different than a Youth League match, but both require their specific needs, which HDM Sports knows all about.

International teams

A well-organised training camp offers the perfect opportunity to start the season, acclimatise before a major tournament or serve as an evaluation period. Or a combination of these goals. 
Sometimes referred to as Summer Camp, what you need during such an event is smooth travel arrangements and transfers, excellent accommodation and facilities, and, for some teams extremely important, privacy!

Training Camps

‘Sporting events’ is a general term used for a unique happening that goes further than the regular competition. Yet, it does not only refer to the Olympics or the FIFA World Cup. A friendly match, for instance, can prepare your team for the first qualification match. Or a well-organised official Champions League match abroad can bring you further in the competition.
